The DA is elected and pandered for votes in this case. He was forced into it by the media and race baiting 'religious leaders'

The facts in the case were clear to the DA before the trial and there was no need to prosecute except to pander to the left. They could've presented the facts to the public without a trial, but that wouldn't have gotten them votes.
