is no way he gets fired after year 2. That just doesn't happen in football especially. After year 3, maybe, even if that 3rd year is another putrid one. It takes a while for a football coach to establish the culture he wants and for the players to develop the way he wants them to.
It isn't like basketball where a couple of big signings can turn it around in 1-2 years.
Again, not arguing the subtext - if he goes 5-7 or 4-8 (heaven forbid), he will and should be on the hot seat for sure.
