I have not yet interpreted the passage from Leviticus.

And YES. I think the bucks going at it is just fine. We no longer face a world where the survival of the species is dependent on each of reproducing. And as for how my God would view it - if there was love expressed and kindness and joy in an authentic human expression of Life and Joy - My God - he'd be down with it. My God keeps the door open and leaves the porch light on.

No - I do not in any way shape or form believe the Bible to be the inherent Word of God. My God does not use words. My God is not anthropomorphic.

My God is everywhere and in all things. My God loves Hitler and Mao and Stalin and Dave Berkowitz and Derek Jeter, Jerry Garcia and Marilyn Manson - and his brother Charlie. My God loves Nixon, Reagan, Bush and Trump. My God loves the child and the cripple, Jesse Owens and Jodi Foster.

God loves you and me.

God is the manifestation of all things in all places. There is nothing that is not God. Some find solace, wisdom & guidance is ancient texts whether Jew, Christian Hindu or in modern Avatars. It is all good. It is all God. What WE are doing here is figuring that out. And it is really hard to do but we have all the time in the world to do it. THERE YOU HAVE IT.
