The importance of child sports isn't the outcomes of the games, its mostly irrelevant who wins or loses.

I'm not suggesting Kim should quit because he has lost so many games. He should quit because he was promoted considerably beyond his competence, doesn't have the proper skill set to succeed in this role, isn't putting forth an adequate amount of effort towards it, and is destroying something he proclaims to care a good deal for. This notion that it is dishonorable to step aside when you are positioned incorrectly is absurd, its considerably more dishonorable to remain in that position simply to be paid for a job you can't do.
