games in a year and then made the tournament within the next two seasons. I know many are hoping that 15 or 16 wins and then there is a chance we can make the tournament within the next two years but that scenario hasn't occurred in the last 5 years of SEC play. Making the tourney after winning 15 or 16 games isn't impossible as Mizzou did it under Mike Anderson but it doesn't happen all that often.

Alabama went 17-15 in 2009-10 and then made the tournament in 2012.
