season in 2017-18, there's no way Sterk will upset the apple cart and change coaching staffs. That would be terrible mismanagement. Similarly, if there is no improvement and no real chance of a post-season tourney for 2017-18, he would be compelled to go a different direction.

But this mindset of what KA "deserves" or not is delusional thinking. KA deserves nothing whatsoever, and the past two seasons mean nothing as well. It's purely a determination about the future based on how the team looks this season.
