When’s the last time we played Florida or Tennessee

The SEC would not set up an 8 game schedule that featured 8 new teams every year.
Traditional rivalries matter.
Auburn / Bama has to happen EVERY year.
OU/ Texas has to happen every year.
Tennessee and Bama goes way back.
Your scenario would have NEVER happened in an 8 game schedule.
We’ll get Arkansas, Oklahoma and one other (Vandy, S Carolina) in our 4 team pod a 9 game SEC schedule and then play everyone else home and away twice in a four year time frame.
Would never have happened with an 8 game schedule.
We’ll see every team in the SEC on a regular basis.
