What makes the swamp "the swamp"?

You could probably axe a thousand people and get a thousand variations. You could probably axe a thousand trumplicans and get maybe four variations, but all of them will somehow involve democrats.
But put simply- the swamp is thus because our "representatives" put special interests above the American people. Be it for Russia or Israel or corporate interests, the swamp is just another way of saying corruption.
And never before have we had a president this corrupt, this swampy. Though I will grant he lies about it and does spectacularly dupe his psychophants to believe otherwise. Which brings us to today's emphasis: the
environment:
According to the report, ‘In 2024, renewables made up 92.5% of all new electricity capacity additions and 74% of electricity generation growth’. While almost the entire world has increasingly switched to renewables, the United States stands out as the sole ‘dissident’, with the Trump administration denying climate change and still backing fossil fuels.

So renewables are CHEAPER and better for the environment
(and the article doesn't even mention-much healthier than
polluting ways of making energy}.
