Where did you hear that? Nato Art. 5 is intervention to defend a member nation under attack. Ukraine isn't a member of Nato and one of the main reasons Russia went to war was to prevent them from becoming one. I seriously doubt the U.S. would intervene under Article 5 to protect any of the Baltic States should Russia decide to enforce their treaty rights with Lithuania to maintain land access to Kaliningrad. I can't see us going to war with Russia to protect any of them.
