Their oft stated red lines are a neutral Ukraine & no NATO presence, including offensive weapons near the Russian border.
If Russia doesn't sign off on this, and I haven't seen anything that says that they will, they are going to continue grinding down the Ukrainian military. Nothing will stop them barring NATO troops joining the battle... and that would be foolish in the extreme for the US to participate in.
My vote would be to tell NATO that the US is done with this war. We will sell weapons to NATO as we see fit, but we aren't funding anything and we aren't putting boots on the ground.
If NATO decides to put boots on the ground, I would call for an immediate withdrawal of the US from NATO.
If they want to go to war, they are on their own. The US should not be so foolish as to be drawn into such stupidity.
