Why has the US said they can't replace our NATO allies' anti-missile batteries for at least several years? Why were they so quick to halt the 7 Day Iran/Israel War?

Trump is being rational here. It is NOT in the US interests to keep funding this brutal war, and the Ukrainian people are begging for it to end as well. They are in favor of a negotiated settlement.

Your wish for a fight 'til the last Ukrainian is not in their best interests either.
