not? Meh, not sure it is truly worth it ... unless you're just taking vacations all the time.
I travel for work and went the Mariott route. That being said, I am at roughly 50% travel and also make use of a Mariott rewards credit card.
In turn, when we do take a vacation somewhere -- we normally get roughly a week worth of stays at no cost. I have a colleague who does the same with Hilton, and while I am not sure which program/property is better, he loves Hilton. He just took one of his kids on a week long European vacation, and he was able to pretty much pay for it all with his Hilton Honor points.
