At some point boosters won’t fund these insane contracts. We now live in a world where the only way to win is to maximize more revenue. Good or bad, this is inevitable.

My question is what happens to 4 years of eligibility if the SEC goes outside the NCAA? Already saw 7 years with COVID. Could it become the SEC rivals the NFL? The contracts are more favorable than NFL regulations. Just a fantasy, I’d love to imagine a world where the SEC and Big 10 become the best football in the world and the NFL can go to hell.
