most 'amateur athletes' that were driving TV advertising dollars were of one race.

The bottom line is that we just went from 'scholarships are pay' to 'we've been exploiting these athletes for our own jollies, now let's negotiate a settlement...'

I do enjoy all of 'defenses' like old gentlemen in the south defending slavery and honor and a 'way of life' and so on...
