But now that I'm older, I now have an appreciation of what me and every other grad of my generation missed out on due to the arrogance of school administrators and coaches like Woody.

You never get those years back once you move on to jobs, marriage, kids, etc. Not to mention how hard parents or the students themselves worked to pay the costs of an education.

Oh well, I'm just thankful we have something to celebrate and get excited about now.
