I was a fastpitch pitcher for 20 years. While learn how to do it, I tried both and felt the jump off made my faster pitches a bit slower and moved a bit less. That came from two of my catchers. I thought the push with the pivot staying in contact with the ground made it all work better.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
