aspiring cult leader, but it doesn't make sense from a religious standpoint.
I mean, if there really is a "heaven" and a "hell" in the afterlife, then the criteria should be a person's *actions* rather than their *beliefs* – whether they had a *net positive* or *net negative* impact on the world.
In other words, if someone makes the world a better place over the course of their life, then they should go to heaven.
And if someone *hurts people* and does more harm than good to the world, then they should have to suffer the consequences – regardless of whether they "found Jesus" in the final hours of life.
No?
