It's not illegal nor a violation of any IRS regs to give money to someone. Whoever receives it would have to report it on their taxes, but a booster or anyone else can give money to anyone they want- a server, bum on the corner, defensive tackle, dueling piano player, etc. So, how would anyone go to jail?

Please explain why this message is being reported.
