We practiced on each other until we saw stars and tapped out.
But I never used one because when you are that hyped up with adrenaline and fighting for your life it's easy to go overboard.
Hit a guy in the forearm several times with a "compliance strike" when we were arresting him on a deck balcony the size of a postage stamp made out of dried out lumber. I was tired of rolling around on the deck with him and he was trying to do a push up to get off the deck with two of us trying to cuff him. Didn't realize how hard I smacked him until he was being booked and you could see the impression of the metal knurlings in his firearm.
And this was a legit biker dirtbag who could have disarmed either of us during our time rolling around on top of him so, yes, I was scared for my life and that of the other officer.
Then we had to take his drunken ass down a long flight of rickety stairs to the car.
And just for good measure, fvck you smurf.
