I am going to explain something to you marines receive very little hand to hand combat training especially in ground fighting and choke holds. this kid probably watched a few UFC fights and thought he would try it. He displayed no confidence whatsoever if so this wouldn't have happened. it looks like he wasn't nearly as good as your average high school wrestler. I have taught Seals, Rangers, and Green Beret's and I would pick a
Sr high school wrestler to take them every time. A choke hold applied correctly a person will pass out within 4 seconds. Over 2 to three minutes they die. If he was going to apply a rear choke hold. He should have turned him face down and released the hold and restrained him with under hooks. do you have any idea how long it takes to become a black belt in Brazilian Jujitsu ?
