the others you've listed. Dennis seems like a real student of the game and someone hungry to do what it takes to succeed at this level. However, I fully admit to being just as excited about Cuonzo too when he was in his first year (not Haith although his first year was remarkable to say the least)...but Dennis just has a very different energy to him in my opinion.

That being said, you raise a valid comparison that we've seen other coaches with great/good first years who have bottomed out. My question would be why is that? It seems counter-intuitive that the first season would be the most successful but that's what we've seen a few times now...
