This might/will require separate TV contracts for Football, Basketball, and probably a combined one for all the other sports (which will be next to zero because nobody give a crap about those). Take the money for the sport and that is the starting point for negotiations for the salary cap. It could be any percentage of that, even over 100%.

The time is coming, very soon, these non-revenue sports are going to have to pull their own weight or go away. Right now the money generated from football is paying for all these sports. That is not going to continue in the long term. That door has been cracked open and it is not going to close.
