It will be talked about though, mostly by the wing of the Dem party known as the media. But he would never consider running at an Independent.
What is guaranteed to happen though is the Dems are going to interfere with the primary in a major way. They clearly did it in the 2022 primaries. I've also been told by sources they did quite a bit of meddling in the 2016 primary because they felt Trump was unelectable. That backfiring on them made it all the sweeter.
But I will bet every dollar I got, that the Dem and media hatred of DJT will drop off a cliff during the primaries. And not only that, they will try everything they can to prop him up as the best candidate. His fundraising is going to be thru the roof because both sides are going to be donating to his campaign. Bookmarket.
It's not that they will be trying to split the GOP, they will be actively propping up DJT.
