He did some good things during his 4 years, but he's become a major liability at this point for the GOP (and America). If he could just step out of the way, the GOP would have a clear path to victory in '24 via DeSantis.
Dems are going to exploit this to create a major rift in the party, probably with lots of "false flag" bots/operatives on social media to play one side against the other.
"Team Trump: NEVER vote for DeSantis, even if he wins the primary! He's an establishment shill! Cozying up with Jeb Bush, Mitch McConnell, Paul Ryan, Mitt Romney, [insert GOPe name here] behind the scenes!! TRUMP OR BUST!!!"
