actually 2004 wasn't as bad as everyone remembers

They lost 2 close game to #11 Texas and #21 OK State . They were one game from winning the North . They took a loss to a Troy team that also pushed LSU and South Carolina to the brink . Overall they were close to being a pretty good team they just fell short . That team didn't get blown out or look noncompetitive .
