It seems that this has become a little overblown . He had a decent class in 2021 and followed that up with a top 20 class in 2022 . To be fair a lot of things fell right for the staff with the 22 class . Burden having a son helped keep him in the area, Wesolak's legal problems helped secure him, and Jones fell in our lap late in the process .
The 2023 class is going to be a step back and will have to be filled with a lot of transfers . Worse, we're already falling behind on the 2024 class .
Bottom line is you have to win on the field to keep up your recruiting or eventually it dries up . Now has this season plays out we have to worry about Flipsgiving having a different meaning and hope that December doesn;t bring a mass exodus through the portal .
