That 1998 team was deep on the offensive line with some pretty talented and giant guys from around Missouri. Larry Smith and Pinkel did a great job finding multi-sport giant athletes from rural Missouri that could really play. Devin West was pretty special behind that line. Some of our best teams have been comprised of great talent from Missouri mixed in with hidden gems from Texas. That team was not historic, but if we had Bill Snyder's typical schedule it would have won 10 games and not 7 with that massive offensive line.
