I don't consider 1998 historic in any way.

It was a nice season, don't get me wrong - but it was not historic. Historic is 2007, 2013. I don't consider this schedule that tough either - not to say 7-5 wouldn't be bad, but it wouldn't be legendary either . Just a bit hyperbolic there.

I'd consider 7-5 decent but not great. Frankly anything less than 7-5 would be a big step back.
