the b12 was suppose to evaporate years ago. it didn't. that's hard to swallow for those who constantly said it would because of, well, you know, just because alabama is in the sec and by extension that makes missouri elite and the b12 awful. yeah, right.

reality is that the b12 will continue as a major conference, as you wrote, adding p12 schools and perhaps others. it will be by far the best basketball league when UofA joins baylor, houston, ku, and the others. it will also be competitive in football as notre dame, ole miss, lsu and rest found during bowl season and as missouri will find out this september in manhattan.
