70's... but schools started gaming the system (ranking methodology) a couple decades ago to manipulate their ranking.

There also seems to be some bias in that magazine's methodology against larger state universities. Colorado, Utah, Oregon, Arizona, Kansas... they've all fallen to the same range as Mizzou.

And a lot of the large state schools in the Big Ten have dropped in recent years as well.

Anyway, it's just a magazine and if MU wants a higher ranking it should start gaming the system like other schools have.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
