Kids are smart to find out how much they are going to make at various schools. Sure some will decide based solely on money but I’m guessing most will make it a big part of where they choose. Like employees anywhere, salary is a huge part of where we work but there is also the where you work geographically and how the employer treats their employees.

We are all different on how we make employment and college decisions. Someone could offer me 10x my salary to move to New York City or Chicago and I would say no thanks but offer me 2x my salary to go to Oklahoma City or Iowa City and I would move from St Charles.
