to maximize broadcasting revenue you would not want any riff-raff. You would not want Ohio State vs. Oregon State or Rutgers. You would want a super-league of 30-35 teams so the matchups across the board would be competitive each week. If you are sharing revenues with the players there will be no qualms with that kind of arrangement or elongated NFL type playoffs.
