They’re not playing in all of them now. LSU had like 35 scholarship players against Kansas State. And Missouri’s best player did not play in the bowl game. And he may as well not have played in the last four or five games of the regular season because they were all “meaningless”

Again the destruction of the bowl system was the beginning of the end and opened the door for a lot of the stuff to be put into place. The transfer portal NIL all of it. Because when you’re essentially making these guys like pros and adding on additional games and playoffs it’s much easier to justify you aren’t “ paying them” enough. Again they should have added a fair stipend many years ago and kept incrementally increasing it and also just stayed the hell away from video games. And you would still have “college football” not this mess you have now
