And put too much of a burden on the players to make the arguments by those that hated college sports to begin with much easier and helped the haters to create these absurd situations that are now or in place. I warned years ago that the end would come with the insistence the college football become like the NFL. It didn’t need to be “more popular” It already had plenty of money rolling in and a solid system in place. Again they should’ve just come out with a fair stipend years ago and never kept adding onto the season and expanding things and insisting on playoffs. Even now you’ve got a guy like Tigerinksnsas wanting them to start the season August 15 and play a bunch of bowl games in August and then like a 32 game playoff starting in mid December. It’s insanity
