teacher and other students the entire hour if they interfered with their "business" you would think differently.

When I was in school there was maybe 1-2 counselors. Now there are over a dozen, and their offices are lined with dozens of kids each... that are not having emotional problems, some are, but with kids who are threatened in classes by the hoodlums and want to do their work in another area. The counselors help teach so they don't have to go back to the combat zone

This in addition to the social media bullying of every kid in the school when they are not in a specific classroom. Most kids have no desire to be in a high school building, girls especially.

School shootings shouldn't be a surprise at all with the emotional issues teens have anyway. It is surprising to me only that they target elementary schools instead of their own high schools and their tormentors
