They are the PAC 12 champs but have an RPI rank of 12 today.

D1 Softball has them projected as the 5 seed in their latest bracketology. I think that’s a little high, but I have seen a number of brackets, including ones I respect very much, that have them as a top 8 seed this year, likely in the 7-8 spot.

There is a good chance they will be seeded 4-5 spots above their RPI rank.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
