and possibly overly sensitive. I was the one that asked about her. I didn't reply again as I believe Wert played a good third base.
When someone gets to college level it is the top level. there will be good and bad comments, right and wrong. comments should only be about playing and never personal. Sadly many players have heard worse from coaches in the past. They have had to fight thru wrong opinions. When My daughter started playing at 11 years old, she had the worse coaches. At twelve, the coach asked if she had gotten any better. I used it as a learning experience. When she missed a ball and coach said just catch it, I called her over and coached her on how. so there will always be bad, as a parent (and weekend warrior coach) I tried to teach to over come.
I was critical last year of 1st and 2nd base, not of the player personal but their playing. a concern I felt was that a player like Kelsee might not be getting the opportunity they should. so as I was negative, I was positive. I have seen coaches play favorites.
college is about winning fairly, if someone is struggling maybe they should be benched and give another a chance.
I hope the best for all the players and don't believe "M" meant it personal
pert neer everyone here wants the best for the team (well except one person). We all have different thoughts. we discuss and sometimes call each other things. that is what a message board is
