I told myself I would not worry about your ridiculous comment about Kelsee Mortimer, but I cannot let this pass without comment, you need to hear this!
Who in the heck do you think you are making such a terrible asinine comment about two young lady athletes? Do you or your so-called reliable source know either one of these athletes? You saw fit to put down Wert and Kelsee in the same post, do you even care how evil this is? I see you are from KC or so your tagline says, and so am I. If you or your reliable source are the product that is coming from KC, I am embarrassed to say I live here.
In a world where these athletes are under a tremendous amount of pressure to perform and knowing they place even more pressure on themselves, what do you think gives you the right to sit on any message board and say such negative things about any athlete, let alone a young lady? Are you there when she is working out and all the countless hours to perfect her craft or are you just there to ridicule her when it isn’t up to you and your “reliable” source’s standards?? In the current environment where athletes have caused themselves harm because the pressure just ends up being too much, shame on you, you disgust me, and I don’t even know you, nor do I ever want too.
I do realize being a college athlete subjects you to certain levels of scrutiny, but Kelsee has sat patiently behind several fifth-year seniors (much outside of her control due to Covid), and many would tell you she is the model teammate supporting and working just as hard so that when she gets her shot, she is ready. Much of this whole structure was outside of her control, but you never see her in any scenario negative or pouting…But how would you know that, does your so-called reliable source tell you that??? No, because both of you have very little, if any common sense.
She had one good comment from a poster about being 3-3 in the limited at bats she was given, and you saw it fit that you had to take that from her. Why?? You are less than human and truly Mizzou would be better off without you in the fanbase and this disgusting board. We need less of you and your reliable source in every avenue of life. Have you ever even been around an athlete and see the tremendous amount of pressure they place on themselves and the value of having things go positive in any scenario, especially one as challenging as this? You cannot have been since you saw fit to take that from her and why??? Just to be an ass and get some comments?
As you can see from my handle, I am not hiding behind anything, you should know exactly who I am and if not happy to tell you. You ALL need to know your words matter. Coach Anderson teaches these girls how to maintain integrity and rise above adversity and negativity, which is going to help them throughout life and softball, but everyone is human and processes negative comments internally, especially athletes. I can only hope you or your reliable source don’t have any children, the world will be a better place if so. You have any issue with anything I said above, I am happy to speak these words directly to you and your so-called reliable source, but I doubt either of you will ever let that happen, the computer or gossiping is the safest place for you two to stay.
