the ability to sign that talent.

If you were able to talk to him privately and honestly at this time last year I think he knew exactly what was coming. He knew that he did not have the talent to compete in the SEC. He had also been coaching long enough to know his own limitations so he knew he was not going to coach them into something more than they were.
