Gary Pinkle and Mike Anderson are examples of Mizzou coaches who could not recruit top talent but had a knack of identifying lower rated guys who were a good fit for their programs and coaching them up.

Kim was a good recruiter and a bad coach.

CM was a bad recruiter and a mediocre coach.

Kim was a better recruiter than CM just look at the rankings.
