a quick turnaround in a bottom-tier conference like the Horizon League. Purdue-Fort Wayne joined from the Summit League a couple years ago and went from 6-14 to 15-6 in conference play, which is virtually the same as what Gates did.

The bottom half of the Horizon features some of the worst teams in D1 basketball (IUPUI was dead last in Kenpom) and there's no equivalent to Gonzaga, BYU or St. Mary's at the top.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
