My gripe here is thinking that hiring an OC

means a better offense, more creative DDF plays for GAT, 50 points a game ect

That will come when we get better athletes and more experience regardless of who's coaching.

Kendall Briles is one of the best and there's no guarantee if we get on OC, he'll will be like him. Look at this board. Yost was on one hand universally hated on the other, there's no denying his offenses set records when he was in charge.

I'm confident Hamdan, Johnson and Luper along with Drink all sit down, view film, discuss strategy and collectively come up with a game plan. Even w/an OC Drink would still more than likely have veto power over any plays called as did Pinkel.

So I'm just not seeing a huge benefit here. Its a matter of style. Sam Horn, Burden, Jones and a few studs on the line will make this go away.

What substantive thing do you expect to see ?
