Funny, the first written accounts of Jesus, he does not claim to be God. Point is clear. IF he had made the claim, you'd think the first time it gets in writing, that that claim would have made it.

He taught you cannot serve two masters. IF what you want is material pleasures and acquisitions - go for it. But THAT will not get you to God. You serve God first and only. And then you get close. THAT is what he taught. And that is great teaching.
