No. Not even close. Haith gave him his walking papers after the season and he worked as an assistant for Navy for a few more seasons before his career ended without so much as a whimper.

The whole Ernie Nestor X-and-O Svengali thing is a fever dream cooked up in Fiji's head that has nothing at all to do with reality.
