I don't think you see many instances of people reversing their positions, the people who felt that way when they were coaching here still feel that way today and vice versa.
The one exception, in my opinion, pertains to Quin. His last few teams really were poorly coached and it was a big problem. But I think its validly accurate to say he has improved considerably and would be tremendous as a coach now. Norm ran out of talent in the late 1990's, he didn't forget how to coach. The rest of MU's coaches I think have been rather consistent and you knew what to expect from them without having to change your position.
I think as a general statement our 1995-96, 2003-04, 2010-11, and 2013-14 teams were rather poorly coached even though overall their coaches knew what they were doing. Some years the style of play and roster and coaching just don't mess, and there are a lot of behind the scenes and off court things that impact overall results.
