Before, transferring was disincentivized (you had to sit a year).
Now it's the opposite — players are financially incentivized to transfer to wherever is most lucrative.
I'm not saying all is lost, but it will be a more difficult landscape for schools like MU to compete in.
What I'm hoping for is major pressure within a few years to revert back to something closer to the amateurism model.
