From an RPI quadrant perspective MU did a very good job against the top quadrant, going an impressive 7-3. Where they completely fell apart was going 0-5 in quad 2, and even worse picking up 2 more losses from quad 3.

In an only 26 game season 7 losses to teams outside the top quadrant simply too many given MU's talent and experience.

Quad 2 is 31–75 home, 51–100 neutral, or 76–150 away and MU lost every single one of those games last year. That is where we gave last season away.
