My guess, for some mid-tier P5 programs,

this is the new reality. If teams in this tier happen to recruit and coach good players, Tier 1 programs will open their doors, or, the players will have multiple options to monetize their talent.

Tier 1 programs only have the latter exposure and, therefore, would not likely turnover their rosters as much.

Question is, can a mid-tier program elevate to a top-tier program? It would seem to depend on the number of players that program feeds to NBA or other revenue friendly leagues.
