garbage program. He didn't inherit players like Geist and Barnett or have several blue chip recruits/transfers follow a pair of 5-star recruits that fell into his lap. He had to rebuild MSU the old-fashioned way - the same way he did at Pitt and UCLA.
He's been tourney-worthy in 3 of the past 4 years. It's disingenuous of you to discount his Top 4 SEC finish last year that would have surely resulted in a bid.
Finally, Howland has proven on the court that he's a better coach than CM.
