The word stupid is overused. Ignorant is a better word in this context. To be specific, the hyperpartisan Maga types are ignorant fools.

The one thing I am sure of is that I am an ignorant fool (and I am no MAGA type). I have read that the more intelligent and educated a person is the more likely that they are willing to acknowledge that they are ignorant fools.
